LAUREN HURT 

I am a Senior at Wheaton College studying Interpersonal Communication. During my time as an undergraduate student, many diverse experiences have helped to develop my passion for business in the digital space. I am interested in the ways that social media marketing, and blogging can be used to grow and shape a brand. Essentially, I am interested in the ways that consumers can be reached through the art of storytelling as a means to reach the media. These interests, along with my passion for writing, have led me to my chosen field of study. These interests have also led me to an internship with a start-up clothing company, as well as entertainment development group Rockit Ranch Productions. For the past year, I have also been writing  a blog under the name “Sugar and Spice” to explore the fashion and food of Chicago. I hope to establish a career in Public Relations upon graduation.
