In October of 2013, along with a friend, I began the lifestyle blog, "Sugar & Spice". This blog would combine both of our personalities and interests as we discovered the fashion, food, and fun of Chicago. We have a presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and engage with our followers daily. In addition, we joined the Chicago Blogger Network, a community of Chicago bloggers with over 600 members. Since we began blogging, we have worked to form our own unique voice, build our online presence and readership, and produce fun content that caters to our audience. Creating the website, logo, blog concepts, and promoting our "brand" has been an incredible experience as we have learned what it means to build a concept from the ground up.
